Terms and Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms and Conditions regulate the hiring and provision of services offered by AFTER HOUSE for social, corporate and private events.

I. Identification of the service provider

AFTER HOUSE, located in Mexico City, acts as a service provider for social and corporate events, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, which govern every service hired by the Client.

II. Purpose of the service

AFTER HOUSE provides event services, including but not limited to: mixology bar, bartender service, glassware rental, shots cart, foosball table, photobooth, tastings, catering, digital galleries, digital invitations, DJ service and other services related to event experiences, according to the quote accepted by the Client.

III. Acceptance of the terms

Acceptance of a quote, payment of any advance, written confirmation through electronic means or authorization to begin service planning shall imply the Client’s express acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If there is a quote, contract, commercial proposal or service order accepted by both parties, such document shall prevail only regarding the specific conditions of the hired service.

IV. Quotes and validity

Quotes issued by AFTER HOUSE shall have the validity indicated in the quote itself. If no validity is stated, they shall be valid for 7 calendar days from the date they are sent. Prices, date availability, staff availability, equipment, supplies and logistical conditions may vary if the quote is not accepted within the corresponding period.

V. Hiring, reservation and payments

To reserve the event date, the Client must pay an advance equivalent to 35% of the total quoted amount. Such advance is non-refundable in case of cancellation by the Client. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 calendar days before the event date. Payments may be made in cash, bank deposit or electronic transfer.

VI. Changes to the hired service

Any change requested by the Client regarding number of guests, schedule, location, hired services, setup, technical requirements, supplies or event conditions must be requested in writing and shall be subject to availability. Changes may generate adjustments to the final price, setup times, logistics, required staff or operating conditions.

VII. Specific service conditions

The Client must provide an adequate, safe and functional space for the operation of the service. If the hired service does not include the supply of alcoholic beverages, the Client shall be responsible for delivering them in due time before the start of the event. When equipment, glassware, furniture or electronic equipment is rented, the Client shall be responsible for any damage, loss, theft or misuse, and must cover the corresponding replacement cost. For electronic equipment, the Client must guarantee a covered, level area with stable electrical supply.

VIII. Digital invitations and digital services

For services such as digital invitations, digital galleries or event-related web materials, once the final material has been delivered, any subsequent modification may generate additional charges. Delivery times, revisions and adjustments shall be subject to the specific quote or agreement accepted by the Client.

IX. Client obligations

The Client undertakes to guarantee timely access to the event venue for setup and teardown, obtain the necessary permits and authorizations for the event, including alcohol consumption, sound and schedules, and provide a safe environment for staff, equipment and guests.

X. Cancellations and rescheduling

If the Client cancels less than 7 calendar days in advance, the advance payment shall be retained as a penalty. In duly justified situations of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the parties may agree to reschedule the event, subject to availability, without loss of the advance payment.

XI. Alcohol consumption and liability

AFTER HOUSE shall not be liable for damages, accidents, injuries or consequences derived from excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages by guests. Any liability arising from the mixing of alcoholic beverages with energy drinks, medications, narcotics, illegal substances or any other substance unrelated to the hired service is expressly excluded. AFTER HOUSE shall not provide alcoholic beverages to minors. The Client shall be solely responsible for ensuring that alcohol consumption is limited to persons over 18 years of age, in accordance with applicable law.

XII. Food, sugar and allergies

In services that include food, snacks or beverages containing sugar, AFTER HOUSE assumes no liability for allergic reactions, pre-existing medical conditions or effects derived from consumption of such products. The Client is responsible for informing in advance of any relevant dietary restrictions. Consumption is under the guest’s responsibility.

XIII. Misuse of equipment

AFTER HOUSE shall not be liable for damages or injuries derived from improper, negligent or unauthorized use of equipment, furniture or materials used during the event by the Client or guests.

XIV. Schedules and setup

AFTER HOUSE staff shall arrive at the event venue with the necessary anticipation, between 1 and 5 hours depending on the service. Start and end times shall be those stipulated in the accepted quote. Any extension must be previously authorized and may generate additional charges.

XV. Weather conditions

For outdoor events, the Client must guarantee adequate protection against rain, wind or extreme heat. AFTER HOUSE may suspend or limit the service if conditions represent a risk to staff, guests, equipment or event operation, without this implying any refund.

XVI. Digital galleries, photographs and videos

When the hired service includes a digital gallery, photo or video uploads, digital invitations or any other digital resource, the Client acknowledges that content shared by guests, attendees or third parties shall be the responsibility of whoever uploads or provides it. AFTER HOUSE may host, organize and display such content only for purposes related to the event experience, unless otherwise agreed in writing. AFTER HOUSE may delete, hide or reject any content that is offensive, illegal, violent, discriminatory, sexually explicit, infringes third-party rights or does not correspond to the nature of the event.

XVII. Use of image and event material

Unless expressly objected to in writing by the Client before the event, AFTER HOUSE may use general photographs or videos of the setup, decoration, services, atmosphere or event details for portfolio, social media, commercial promotion and internal documentation purposes. AFTER HOUSE shall endeavor not to publish images that expose attendees in a sensitive, intimate or harmful manner. If the Client does not want any event material to be used for promotional purposes, this must be communicated in writing before the event date.

XVIII. Intellectual property

All designs, proposals, concepts, texts, structures, dynamics, digital designs, invitations, galleries, visual materials, experience names, commercial documents and content created by AFTER HOUSE are the property of AFTER HOUSE, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Client may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, modify or use such materials for purposes other than the hired event without prior written authorization.

XIX. Official communication

For coordination, confirmations, changes, authorizations, information delivery, payments and service follow-up, the parties may communicate by email, WhatsApp or other digital means provided by the Client. Confirmations made through such means shall be valid for operational follow-up and event coordination purposes.

XX. Invoicing

The Client may request an electronic CFDI invoice by providing their Tax Status Certificate and CFDI Use within 72 hours after payment. Invoices are issued only within the calendar month in which payment was made. Prices are subject to 16% VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise.

XXI. Governing law and jurisdiction

For the interpretation and compliance of these Terms and Conditions, the parties submit to the applicable laws and competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction.
